Paintings by artist Weimin He have raised £2,130.97 towards a kidney transplant operation for a friend in China.
Originally from Northern China, Mr He, 48, from Summertown, is artist-in-residence at Oxford University’s Radcliffe Observatory Quarter.
He is selling his paintings at the Sinolink Gallery in St Clement’s Street to raise £20,000 for Wu Jiangwei, 24, from China’s Shaanxi province, who has renal failure.
