THE statement that must be vying to be judged ‘The Joke of the Year’ was the one made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, during a recent visit to Northern Ireland, when she said: “Violence is not an acceptable means of settling differences.”
I imagine that it is extremely unlikely the people of North Western Pakistan, who are subjected to almost daily attacks by American un-manned drones, will be sharing her sense of humour.
