BRITISH Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after racist slurs were made on a train running from Oxford to Bicester.
The incident took place on Friday, September 28, but BTP has not yet released the image until yesterday.
Pc Bob Maulini said: “Two men boarded the 4.26pm Oxford to Bicester service when one of the men began to make racially-aggravated comments to his friend.
“The comments made by the men, who are believed to have been drinking previously, were highly offensive and made the victim feel vulnerable and fear for her own safety.”
Officers have conducted a number of lines of inquiry, including speaking to witnesses on the train and viewing CCTV in the area.
