A car smashed through shop doors to raid a pharmacy in Wallingford this morning.
The small grey vehicle was spotted by two witnesses and caught on CCTV reversing through the doors of Boots in Wallingford Market Place at around 5am.
Boots store manager Nicola Gniotek confirmed there was perfume stolen from the store but said it was open for business again this afternoon.
Police spokesperson Lucy Billen said: “We were called to an incident at 5.06am to Boots the chemist at the Market Place in Wallingford where front doors had been smashed in.
"We spoke to two witnesses and CCTV showed a small grey vehicle had reversed into the doors.
"There was no sign of any medication taken and at the moment no details of what was taken.”
