THE deadline for applications of Oxford City Council’s culture fund passed yesterday.
Grants of between £500 and £1,000 are on offer for the first time from the city council to help fund projects which will benefit the city and the people of Oxford.
Up to 20 cultural organisations will benefit from the grants, which are given out for projects which must take place before September 30, 2013.
Applicants will be informed whether they have been successful or not by Friday, December 21, 2012. Each application will be judged on the basis of how much demand there is for the project and what its proposed outcomes are as well as how much income the applicant expects to leverage with the support.
