Missing teenager Antigone Buck has been found safe and well.

The 14-year-old girl from Bicester, who was reported missing on Monday, was found last night following an appeal from Thames Valley Police .

Is this a newspaper story or just a reprint of a police statement?

The editor must be pretty stupid to permit Mr Hughes to get away with this dismal stuff.

Don't be ridiculous John, what are they supposed to do, keep her under CCTV observation 24/7? At some point she will have to walk between home, school and the shops. If she wants to do a bunk she will. Keeping a child under virtual house arrest is likely to lead to even more feelings of resentment and suffocation.

Glad to see she's safe and well, to have your child missing overnight with no explanation must be terrifying. One day she'll understand that. I used to have little regard for my parents' silly concerns, or so I thought, after all, I knew I was fine. Now I'm horrified that I could have put them through such pain.

It's happened to people we know. They had the police out and everything. It is terrifying. It ended happily and the child was found thankfully.
