TWO Oxford schools were closed yesterday as a result of flooding.
And as headteachers in schools close to the county’s rivers monitor threats from rising water levels, more may be closed in the coming days.
St Ebbe’s Primary School, White House Road, took the decision to close due to issues with toilets, while North Hinksey Primary School, North Hinksey Lane, was forced to close due to flooding on the lane outside.
Both are hoping to reopen today.
West Oxford Primary School, Ferry Hinksey Road, is among those considering whether or not to open today.
