THE first snow of the season fell in Cowley’s shopping centre.

Templars Square opened a giant snow globe on Saturday, which families can walk into and play in.

The snow globe, which will be available until Christmas Eve, is free to enter and families can get their picture taken in it.

Snow globe manager Liane Dallimore said: “It was fantastic over the weekend. It was mega busy – it always is.

“It is really magical and the children – and the adults – just love it.

“It really puts people in the festive mood.”

The snow is made from soft, white pieces of plastic.
