A robber held up a money transfer shop at knifepoint.
The man went into the shop, in the Mak Food Store in Magdalen Road, East Oxford, and demanded money at about 7.05pm on Thursday.
A 27-year-old female shop worker handed over a quantity of cash and the man fled towards Iffley Road. No one was injured in the incident.
The offender, thought to be in his 30s, of slim build and about 5ft 6in tall, had a local accent. He had tattoos on the knuckles of his right hand in which he was holding the knife.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
