Loyalty card winners plan to raise a glass or two
10:30am Thursday 15th November 2012 in News
THE latest winners of the Oxford Mail’s Loyalty Card prize draw have been readers of the paper as long as they can remember.
Pensioners Joan and Alf Pill from Kidlington, won £50, which Mrs Pill said they would spend on something special to celebrate, such as a meal at their favourite pub, the George and Dragon in Long Hanborough.
She said: “I have actually had quite a lucky weekend.
I won two prizes at the Conservative Club meat raffle on Friday, then I won the Loyalty Card, then on Saturday we won £5 on the National Lottery.
“I signed up for the loyalty card not long ago just to see if I could win something, and it worked.”
The couple both grew up in Oxford – Mrs Pill in Jericho and Mr Pill in Headington.
If you fancy being £50 richer this week, simply check your Oxford Mail Loyalty Card against the number which will be published in Saturday’s paper.
Readers can also get deals such as ‘buy one, get one free’ on any main course at Fire & Stone, Oxford.
