RECENTLY we travelled along Donnington Bridge Road and were glad to see that those responsible for pruning the trees alongside the pavement have finally decided to cut back the overhanging branches that were a danger to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
Unfortunately, it would seem that those responsible had hacked off the branches without a care in the world and it shocked me to see the results.
Can I, therefore, ask through your paper this: who was responsible for leaving the area in such a mess? To anyone who sees the result of their work, it is obvious that the person has no idea how to prune trees.
