Once again Roger Tucker has got it exactly right: it won’t just be £85,000 for the police commissioner, it will be all the trappings that go with it, probably topped off by a luxury car and driver (ViewPoints, October 26).
If we have to have a commissioner then I suggest Roger Tucker himself, an ex-old-school copper who knows the ropes.
