Helena Bonham Carter has stripped off with just a giant fish for company.
The actress, 48, posed naked for the Blue Marine Foundation, which creates marine reserves to protect endangered species around the world.
In one snap, The King’s Speech star, who recently announced that she’d split from director Tim Burton, wrapped her legs around the Bigeye Tuna.
Helena, who was persuaded to take part in the shoot by actress Greta Scacchi, disrobed with the fish despite admitting she hates touching the aquatic animals.
“I am a big supporter of protecting the marine environment. I’m actually very phobic about fish so when Greta asked me to be photographed naked with a 27kg tuna I was more worried about touching it than getting my kit off,” the London Evening Standard quoted her as saying.
“Having said that, I conquered my fears and by the end of the morning we’d truly bonded. He will be my Valentine.”
The campaign, which also has support from The Fall’s Gillian Anderson, urges the UK government to create vast marine reserves around three overseas territories.
Helena is filming TV movie Codes Of Conduct and has just finished work on Disney movie Cinderella, in which she plays the fairy godmother.
