Which Celebrity Big Brother housemates - past and present - are the most googled?

Well, we’ve had a look back at previous contestants, as well as the ones from this year, to see who’s been searched for the most. Quite often it’s easy to know why.

Katie Hopkins is, unsurprisingly, the most searched for out of this year’s crop.

The bad news for Katie is that people are still searching for that picture of her in a field.

She’s not impressed.

Of all the winners in the last five series, Jim Davidson has hit the highest peak – but it looks like Alex Reid was searched for most consistently.

And it also seems like most people searching for Jim just wanted to know what all that business with Linda Nolan and Frank Carson was. We’re not sure if we ever found out.

We thought we’d compare the two musicians from last year, Dappy and Lee Ryan, too.

Dappy came out on top, but he has had a year more in the headlines than Lee…

On the plus side, Lee, you’re loved in Nazeing – a small parish in Essex with a population of 4,000.

Full disclosure – Nazeing seems to come out on top on a lot of these searches. Either they’re a community who really want to be into Big Brother but know absolutely nothing about celebrity culture, or Google Trends is a bit confused.

Next we thought it’d be fun to compare some of the models that have been in in recent years – Lucy Pinder, Nicola Tappenden, Georgia Salpa and Jasmine Waltz.

Technically Jasmine Waltz is an actress… but she did used to model so we counted her.

Jasmine came out on top in the number of searches, but maybe that was to be expected once everyone discovered she had a sex tape. Humans are so predictable.

Little known fact about Jasmine – she played “video store customer” in Bad Boys II.

We don’t know yet what interesting stuff we’ll find out about the housemates this year, but we bet we can guess the ones you’ve already been Googling…
