HOUSE price growth in Oxfordshire is among the lowest in the south east, according to new findings.
The Nationwide regional house price report shows the average price of a property in the county is £231,495 a rise of just two per cent in the last year.
That compares to a 12 per cent rise in Brighton and Hove and a 10 per cent leap in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury.
The figures also show Oxfordshire house prices have risen 51 per cent in the last five years and 188 per cent in the last decade.
Group economist Fionnuala Earley said the county's house price growth had remained steady over the course of the last year which was a positive indicator, and it remained ahead of the West Midlands region which showed a rise of 1.8 per cent.
