A FAMILY were left without Christmas gifts today, after burglars broke into their home and stole them, police said.
Police said the thieves entered the Itchen Court home, in Didcot, by forcing open a back window between 4pm yesterday and 1am today.
They stole wrapped children’s toys, as well as family pictures, personalised calendars and a white Samsung tablet, the force said.
Det Con Georgina Bradley of Thames Valley Police said: “This is a terrible burglary due to the fact that several children’s presents were taken on Christmas Eve.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything out of the ordinary in the area around the time of the offence, to come forward to police in the hope that we can track down the offenders.”
Anyone with information should call Thames Valley Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
