Six drivers using mobile phones and 12 not wearing a seatbelt were stopped by police yesterday.
Thames Valley Police’s Pc Mark Pilling said two cars were seized during the Abingdon Road check – one motorist had no insurance and the other no licence.
He said five drivers were also found not to have any tax or an MOT.
