JEALOUS Will Blencowe stabbed Connor Tremble 15 times when he found out he was dating his former girlfriend Aimee Harrison, the court heard.

Blencowe had split up with 20-year-old Miss Harrison in September last year after four years together.

She told the trial Blencowe “was really controlling, we would fall out quite a lot”.

She added: “When we would argue he would be quite abusive – he would spit on my face, stuff like that, and just be really nasty.

“I wasn’t an angel, but he was so jealous and controlling.”

Miss Harrison also told the trial Blencowe called her on the day of the murder. She said: “He said ‘I know you are seeing someone called Connor’. I asked him how he knew but he wouldn’t tell me.

“I asked him what he was going to do about it, he said ‘nothing, I don’t want to ruin my own life’.

“He acted like nothing was wrong and he was absolutely fine and happy in his new relationship.”

She said she told Connor “I understand if you don’t want anything to do with me after Will finding out”.

She added: “He said ‘no don’t be silly’, and said he still wanted to see me.”

That was the last time she spoke to Connor.

Miss Harrison also told the jury Blencowe kept knives and used to play with them in front of the mirror.

She said after Blencowe ended their relationship she was briefly “intimate” with a man called Ben Harris – leading to Blencowe attacking him at the Bitter and Twisted pub in Chipping Norton in October last year.

She told jurors: “Looking back now I wish I hadn’t got into the relationship [with Blencowe], it wasn’t a normal relationship.”

Blencowe claimed Aimee had also been abusive to him and he enjoyed that part of their relationship.
