Community order made with 100-hour unpaid work requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Haroun Ahmed, 29, of Mill Lane, Marston, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Mill Lane, Marston, Oxford, on August 12. Given a six-month driving ban and fined £100. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £75 costs.
  • Frank Brown, 56, of no fixed address, admitted breaching an antisocial behaviour order in Cowley Road, Oxford, on January 18 by lying on the floor of a Tesco fire exit door, which he was banned from doing by an order made on January 14 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on January 16 for breaching an antisocial behaviour order. Given a 14-week prison sentence because of breaching an order twice within a very short period of time.

  • Andrew Peden, 46, of Tubbs Close, Grove, near Wantage, admitted possessing cannabis resin, a Class B drug, on January 6 in Grove. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Karim Belhimer, 24, of Stanley Close, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on December 28. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Sheldon Gallacher, 18, of Friars Wharf, St Ebbe’s, Oxford, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Christchurch Road, New Milton, Hampshire, on August 24. Community order made with managing alcohol-related aggression course requirement, supervision requirement and 100 hours of unpaid work. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
  • Lee McGinn, 28, of Croft Road, Wallingford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour in the sight or hearing of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Headley Way, Headington, Oxford, on January 5.   • James Wells, 43, of no fixed address, admitted failing to notify Cherwell District Council of a change in circumstances he knew would affect his entitlement to housing benefit and council tax benefit in Banbury between August 13, 2012, and November 4, 2012. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.
  • Robert Zasada, 23, of Banbury Court, Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in West St Helen’s Street, Abingdon, on January 4. Fined £150 and told to pay a £19 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Tobias Webster, 29, of Salter Close, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, with intent to supply in Eastern Avenue, Oxford, on December 7. Also admitted possessing cannabis in Between Towns Road, Cowley, on the same date. Given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months with a 12-month supervision requirement, a five-day employment and training requirement, a four-month curfew requirement and 100 hours of unpaid work. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
  • Andrew White, 43, of Station Road, Wheatley, near Oxford, convicted of failing to provide information to South Oxfordshire District Council as to the identity of a driver alleged to be responsible for an offence between September 21 and November 14. Had 117 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 24-month driving ban. Community order made with 100 hours of unpaid work.
