MOTORISTS are being warned to take extra care on the Thelwall Viaduct with gale force winds expected this evening.
The Highways Agency has issued an amber alert to drivers, especially in high sided vehicles, riding motorcycles or towing caravans to take care between 11pm and 10am tomorrow.
Drivers, including commuters setting out during the morning peak travel period, are being urged to check traffic and weather conditions before setting out on journeys and to take advice such as speed restrictions once they are on the strategic roads network.
