AN injury to defender Ray Dinaldi marred Witney Vikings’ 5-3 victory over Carterton in the Under 15 League.

The youngster suffered a broken arm during the game, and after being treated on the pitch by paramedics, was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

His teammates were determined to finish the game, and they did not let him down.

Jamie Marani led the way with a brace, while there were also strikes for Roger James, Luke Bolley and Craig Keylock.

Dinaldi had a three-hour operation on Sunday night to insert pins into the broken bones.

Eynsham Youth edged to a 3-2 victory over Deddington Colts.

Steve Dobson (2) and Adam Burnham scored their goals, with Jack Armstrong’s brace proving in vain for Deddington.

Under 14

Drew Simpson, Karl Smith and Jess Lawrence gave Tower Hill a 3-2 victory over Chipping Norton Town Swifts in the A League.

Dan Case and Connor Peachey netted for Swifts.

Goals from Jack Wilkinson and Clinton Brown saw Hook Norton beat Eynsham 2-0.

In the B League, Matteo Barraclough hit a hat-trick for Yarnton, but it proved in vain as his side went down 4-3 at home to Banbury Town Youth.

Baylee Cannon (2), Josh Englishby and Adil Raza netted for Banbury.

Ben Wright (2) and Rory O’Neill fired Carterton to a 3-0 win over Moreton Ran-gers.

In the C League, Luke Rhodes hit a four-timer as Freeland beat Middleton Cheney 9-0.

Jake Surman (2), Olly Hinchliffe, Curtis Hathaway and Connor Peacock also scored.

Under 12

Tower Hill Stars and Hanborough Youth drew 2-2 in the A League.

Chris Godfrey scored both for Stars, with Dan Burgess and Marcus Smith on target for Hanborough.

Yarnton Blues enjoyed a 7-3 victory over Charlbury Town.

Alastair Grime (2), Alfie Sherlock, Cameron Stuart, Gwion Osmond, Reuben Tyndall and Lloyd Belcher scored, with Ross Hedigan, Laurance Bull and Charlie Quarterman replying.

Dan Greasby scored twice as Chasewell Park drew 2-2 with Carterton Colts.

Jordan Clack and Ben Brown netted for Colts.

Josh Carter netted a treble as Witney Vikings Youth beat Charlton & District 3-2 in the C League.

Under 11

Zak Oliver hit a hat-trick as Tower Hill beat Charlbury Town Youth 7-0.

Frankie Cato (2), Will Newcombe and Kieran Mackintosh also scored.

Goals from Oliver Stacey, Finlay Heritage and Callum Davies gave Ducklington a 3-2 victory over Chesterton.

Jake Griffin and Jamie Horne scored as Witney Vikings Youth beat Brackley 2-0 in the C League.

Rhys Woodward hit a four-timer as Tower Hill Stars recorded a 13-0 victory over Cumnor Minors Blues.

Jake Wyatt (3), Max Low (2), Tony Snowden, Jamie Collins, Euan Walsh and Max Clanfield also found the net.

George Meyer also hit four goals in Carterton Colts’ 8-0 win over Banbury United Youth Spencer.

Danny Allsworth, Harley Blackman, Travis Cozier and James Davies made up the tally.

Goals from Kai Pratley (2), Orlando Ralphs, Hamish Hawkes and Felis Ralphs gave Kingham 5-1 victory over Highfield Juniors Colts. Tobias London replied.
