OXFORD United will play newly promoted Peterborough United twice in one day, the U’s have confirmed.
Karl Robinson’s side will welcome The Posh to the Kassam Stadium on July 27 for a double header behind closed doors.
The fixtures will kick off at 5.45pm and 8pm, with both clubs working on a streaming service to allow fans to watch the games.

Robinson said: “We have had some tremendous games against Peterborough over the last few years and there is a mutual respect between the two clubs, so we know they will be good games.
“We wanted the chance to try and look at everyone in match action, including the younger players coming through from the academy.
“Rather than arrange that over two evenings, why not play the games back to back, allowing us to use the next day productively rather than have the squad split in two that week?
“We like to challenge ourselves and last season showed how important it is to adapt and try new ideas, so this will be a really interesting idea and we’re really looking forward to it.”
In between the City and Peterborough fixtures, two further friendlies arranged behind closed doors will be played.
There are a couple of games still to be announced once Covid restrictions are confirmed.
