Students are being invited to an open day to explore their educational options ahead of the next academic year.

Activate Learning's spring open event will take place at the City of Oxford College and University Centre city centre campus on March 6.

An array of study and employment programmes, along with the opportunity to meet current students, will be showcased from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

The event will offer presentations on various subject areas, information on GCSE, A Levels, business, accounting, travel and tourism, science, and forensics programmes, and Access to Higher Education programmes that provide a fast-track route to university.

Attendees will be able to engage with T Level employers or explore apprenticeship opportunities.

Experts in beauty therapy, hairdressing and media makeup will conduct demos and visitors can explore the art and design, media, music and performing arts facilities.

The sports academies will provide insight into careers in professional sports and a realistic hospital setting will be on display within the state-of-the-art care suite.

Attendees can consult with Activate Learning staff to discuss their study options and careers advisors will provide expert and independent advice.

The student services team will be available to discuss potential bursaries and financial support.

Former student, Khalid Rahmati, who studied the GCSE Science Pathway at City of Oxford College and University Centre, said: "The teachers provide you with lots of support at college.

"They are always so clear with their instructions, resources and everything."
