CHILLING messages between a woman standing trial for murder and her former partner were read out in court, including one where she expressed a desire to kill her parents.

Scarlet Blake, 25, is on trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with the murder of Jorge Carreno.

The 30-year-old Spanish man was found dead in Parsons Pleasure in Oxford on July 25, 2021.

It is alleged that Blake strangled Mr Carreno until he was unconscious before pushing him in the river.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC has previously told the jury Blake has a ‘fascination’ with violence and harm.

To demonstrate this fascination, messages between Blake and her former American girlfriend, Ashlynn Bell, were read out to the jury on Thursday (February 15).

In one message, Blake writes: “I also want to kill my dad one day.

"They did make me into who I am. Maybe when they're old I can just put a respirator with pure nitrogen on them while they sleep.”

Another message read: "I was super homicidal earlier. It would have been super nice to kill for you."

In January 2021, Blake wrote: “I'd r*** you in that. Beat you down onto the floor or just put a rope around your neck and choke you first.

“Good luck fighting back while you're unconscious. Keep you in that twilight. Where you can do nothing as your body twitches.”

The jury heard Blake had visited Miss Bell in America after Mr Carreno’s death in July 2021.

In one message Miss Bell wrote to Blake: “You get another kill before you get here and then you can chill and I will officially have a serial killer big booby girlfriend.”

It was heard that Blake also sent her jacket to Miss Bell.

When Miss Bell received the jacket, she wrote: “Your smell immediately turned me on. Serial killer musk, serial killer musk, serial killer musk, serial killer musk.”

On the same day, the jury also watched a video from Blake’s ex-girlfriend, Evie Brockman, who had fallen out with Blake while visiting her in August 2023.

She recorded a video of herself crying, stating that she is worried Blake is going to try and kill her.

In the video, she said: " I don't think I've ever been this scared of her. I don't know what I'm supposed to f****** do. She's probably going to try and kill me.

"I guess if anyone actually ever finds this it was her and if nobody finds this I'm Ok.”

The trial continues.
