Chiltern Railways said a reduced service is able to run between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone.
Disruption is expected to continue until Monday January 15 at the earliest, it said.
Customers are advised to check the journey before travelling.
Chiltern Railways said engineers are "working as quickly as possible to repair the damaged section of railway".
It comes after a wall collapse and landslip at Yarnton caused widespread disruption last February with services between Oxford and Kingham paused for 11 days.
