THE arraignment of a man accused of rape has been delayed due to a lack of interpreter.
Khaliz Ali Alshimery, of Grenoble Road, has been charged with one count of rape of a woman over 16, one count of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration on November 21.
The charges came after an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 19) in the churchyard of St Clement's Church just off Marston Road.

It is alleged a woman, aged, 20, was raped after being approached by a man between 3pm and 3.30pm.
The 46-year-old was due to make a plea at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (December 22).
However, there was no interpreter available to translate so the case was delayed until January 11.
