A TRIAL date has been set for a woman accused of controlling her husband for five years, including allegedly cornering him and ripping his shirts.
Samantha Putt, of Washford Glen, Didcot, has been charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, alleged to have occurred on April 9.
She is also charged with one count of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in a family relationship between January 1, 2018, and April 12, 2023.

It is alleged the 28-year-old would control her ex-husband Brian Newton by isolating him from friends and family, financially and verbally abusing him, ripping his t-shirt and cornering him into a room, refusing to allow him to leave, and assaulting him on several occasions.
At Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (December 21), Putt pleaded not guilty and is due to stand trial on December 2, 2024.
