Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been getting ready for Christmas.
They have been taking photos of Christmas trees and decorations for our latest weekly theme.
There were lots of striking photos of trees all lit up, shining baubles and pets dressed up to celebrate.

As always, it was difficult to select a winner for photo of the week but we really liked Kimberley-Jane Day’s shot of a young girl inspecting the decorations on a large tree.
It’s not quite clear if she is putting the decorations on the tree or taking them off but no doubt she had a lot of fun at the time!
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
One photo is selected as photo of the week and it is nearly always theme-related.
For more about the camera club and how it is run visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘favourite walks’.
