A passenger travelling on a bus which was involved in a previously unknown police incident has told this paper the full story.
The bus user, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Oxford Mail the bus pulled over and let all passengers off after a 22-year-old drunk man threw himself head-first down the stairs and hit his head on landing.

The passenger said: “The bus pulled over and the driver asked everybody to temporarily get off. I called an ambulance for the man who hit his head, while he waited sat on a brick wall.”
The passenger went on to say he was worried for the man’s wellbeing.
Reportedly the police then turned up and as the passenger was explaining the situation to them, the 22-year-old had run into the road into oncoming traffic.
“He was then pulled off the road by police and restrained. He started fighting so they handcuffed him.”, said the passenger.
Police have been contacted for comment.
