A large fire broke out in a scrapyard in a West Oxfordshire village in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, May 4).
There were also reports of explosions and smoke could be seen from two miles away.
The incident occurred near Great Rollright, to the north of Chipping Norton.

Six fire crews from across north Oxfordshire and two crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at 02:09am.
Crews from Hook Norton, Charlbury, Deddington, Burford, Witney and Banbury responded with colleagues from Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow on the Wold.
Specialist vehicles from Slade Park Fire Station and a water carrier from Wheatley Fire Station also attended along with other officers.
Firefighters described the fire as 'significant,' but it was brought under control within two hours.
Two crews remain on site this morning for damping down and monitoring the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
Further support was provided by other agencies including Thames Water, Thames Valley Police, Environment Agency and the Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks
