With snow forecast in parts of Oxfordshire this week, we asked you to send in your best memories of snowfall in recent years.

The BBC has forecast that a light snow shower will hit Oxford at around 9am on Tuesday and light snow will fall in Banbury between 6am and 7am on Thursday.

It seems that dogs enjoy the snow just as much as we do, with Jude Harvey Moon sending a past photo of her dog Monty clenching a snow-covered wooly hat in its mouth.

She said: “Monty thought it would be a good idea to bury and then dig up Dad's woolly hat!!"

Ian Jones sent us a photo of his acrobatic dog Hector jumping to catch a snowball in his mouth during snowfall from a few years ago.
