ABOUT 10 police officers are stationed around a park in Oxford which has been cordoned off since last night.

A total of six to seven police cars surround the park in Wood Farm Road, behind the shops in Atkyns Road, in Wood Farm, Oxford.

An eyewitness said: “There was trouble last night but we don’t know anything more about it - the whole park has been closed off.”

It is believed the area has been closed off since midnight but Thames Police have yet to comment on what the incident is.

Police tape can be see stretched across the entirety of the park.

The Oxford Mail have asked police to comment.
