A young girl needed medical treatment after she was bitten on the bum by a dog during an attack.

The incident took place on Monday, May 2 at approximately 14.20, just off of Fair Mile in Henley-on-Thames.

The large dog called Lola, described as a German Shepherd breed, chased the young girl and knocked her to the ground before biting and injuring her rear end.

This attack also caused an injury to her forehead.

As a result of this incident, the victim required medical attention.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the attack.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “If you have any information or witnessed the incident, please call 101 and quote: 43220189084.”
