Police issue advice to people walking alone in the dark through Oxford
THAMES Valley Police officers have today issued advice to people walking alone in the dark through Oxford.
Detective Constable Tim Salter, who is based at Oxford Police Station, spoke out after a man was surrounded by a group of yobs who fashed a knife in South Park last night. Read more here>>>

He said: “I would also like to advise people to take care when walking alone in the dark.
“Keep to busy, well-lit streets, walkways and paths which are more likely to be covered by CCTV and do not walk by yourself, if possible."
