A MAN was surrounded by thugs who demanded money and flashed a knife in South Park last night.
The man was walking across South Park at around 10pm when the yobs huddled around him.
He managed to make an escape without any injury or loss.
Now police officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Fortunately, the victim made good his escape without injury or loss.
Detective Constable Tim Salter, based at Oxford police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw this incident to get in touch.
“You can do so by calling us on 101 or by making a report online, quoting reference number 43220048363.
“Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
