An Oxfordshire photographer has snapped an incredibly festive image of a fox in the snow, just in time for the run up to Christmas.
Looking like a real life Christmas card, the picture shows a damp fox running through snowy woodland in south Oxfordshire.
The picture – called The Soggy Fox! – was taken by Simon Booker, an amateur photographer from South Stoke.

Mr Booker, 58, vice president of sales and marketing for a global software company, said: “I was on my way home with the dog from the slipway at South Stoke. The road crosses a small stream and I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and a long wet ‘mammal’ slid out of the stream - a nice day for a morning dip!
“For a moment my heart leapt that it was an Oxfordshire Otter close encounter. In fact it was wiley old fox being pursued by a Magpie so not sure what was going on.
“I was so pleased that I had my camera at the ready and managed to get this split second image before it disappeared.”
The photograph was taken on a Nikon D850 camera on November 29.
Last month Mr Booker shared an incredibly detailed picture of a robin perched amongst Oxfordshire woodland.
