A BEAGLE has gone missing after bolting of her back garden.

Tantivy, a female nine-year-old beagle, went missing on Sunday after escaping from her garden in Kennington.

Now, her owners are urging anybody who has seen Tantivy come forward to help them be reunited with their dog.

Tantivy was last seen walking along the footpath leading towards Iffley Lock and Oxford City Centre by passers-by.

Owner Anna Dalal and her daughter Shabri Dalal fear that someone has taken Tantivy in and decided to keep her.

Shabri Dalal, 20, said: "If anyone finds her or sees someone else with her please take her to the vet and get her microchip scanned so that she can be returned to us.

"We think that maybe someone has found her but has decided to keep her so we want to get the word out that she does have an owner and she should be returned to us if someone hasn't already handed her in."
