Serious crash on A420
THE A420 was closed in both directions this morning after a crash.
*UPDATE: A man has now died after the crash this morning*
Traffic was diverted away from the A420 after an incident at 5.15am this morning involving a van between the A415 (Kingston Bagpuize) to A338 (Tubney Wood).
According to our traffic feed, which can be found here, the road was shut at 5.35.
A diversion was put in place via the A338 Oxford Road into Frilford then along the A415 Kingston Road back onto the A420 and the same in the other direction.
However, drivers were told to expect delays on that route as the diversion became heavily congested.
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment.
