OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

ARRON GARDNER, 34, of no fixed abode, was made subject to a domestic violence protection order for 28 days and must not contact a named woman directly or indirectly by any means, threaten her with any violence, threaten to cause damage to any property or behave in a way that could cause fear or violence. He must also stay 100m away from her home.

JONATHON STEAR, 37, of Gillett Road, Banbury, admitted breaching the requirement of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 6, 2019 by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on November 14 and November 19 and not providing any evidence or reasonable excuse as to why. He was sentenced again for the original offence of stealing a bike, costing £175, from Banbury on January 27, 2019. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

SONNY WEIR, 18, of Southam Road, Little Bourton, Banbury, was re-sentenced after reopening a case for conviction of sexual assault and actual bodily harm. He was resentenced for intentionally touching a woman aged 16 or over without consent on September 28 and assaulting a woman on the same day in Bicester. He was made subject to a community order and must be under a curfew for three months with electronic monitoring until August 5 with a start time of 9pm and end time of 6am. He must also have treatment for his drug dependency for nine months and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for 25 days.

ANGELA CAROLINE JONES, 52, of no fixed abode, Oxford, admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment and alarm in Headington on June 6. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £34.

DAVID WILLIAMS, 29, of Mold Crescent, Banbury, admitted criminal damage to a car window screen, costing £100, in Banbury on May 27 as well as breaching a non-molestation order made by Oxford Family Court on January 31, 2020 by going 100 meters from a house when he was prohibited from doing so. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100 as well as a victim surcharge fee of £95. He was also made subject to a community order and must be under a curfew with electronic monitoring for three months between 8pm and 5am until September 7, 2020.

JAMIE ANTHONY CLARK, 30, of The Mercury Hotel, Oxford, admitted stealing numerous pairs of sunglasses, costing £1,430, from Boots on Cornmarket Street on February 20, 2020, as well as stealing alcohol, an energy drink and a newspaper valued at £5.15 from the Co-operative on Cowley Road on June 8, 2020. He was made subject to a community order and must take part in the ‘thinking skills’ course for six days. He must also have treatment his his drug dependency problem which will be reviewed weekly and must also attend appointments with an officer for 12 days. He must also pay compensation of £1,430.

ROMAN WHITE, 31, of no fixed abode, was made subject to a domestic violence protection order for 28 days to protect a woman. He must not molest her, contact her directly or indirectly, threaten her, behave in a way that would cause fear or violence or be aggressive towards her. He is also banned from entering the house in Oxfordshire.

JASON WAYNE MITCHELL, 43, of Teasel Bank, Didcot, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 1 by going to an address he was prohibited from going to in Abingdon on June 10. He was fined £100.

CHARLIE FLETCHER, 28, of no fixed abode, admitted being in possession of a hammer in Bure Place, Bicester, on June 1, 2020. He also admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words and behaviour to cause harassment in Bicester on the same day. He was sent to prison for six months because the offence was ‘so serious’ and aggravated by his ‘previous offending’. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and must forfeit the hammer.

JACK DANIEL BROWN, 23, of Coriander Way, Oxford, admitted harassment by breach of a restraining order imposed by Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 15, 2019. He went to an address he was prohibited from going to on May 28, 2020. He was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £32 and court costs of £85.

HOSSEIN EBRAHIMIAN, 38, of Evans Lane, Kidlington, admitted assault by beating a woman on June 4, 2020, in Kidlington. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £22 and £85 in court costs.

PAUL DOMINIC MCLAUGHLIN, 58, of Brightwell Cum Sotwell, admitted failing to comply with the notifications of being on the sex offenders register by on June 5 by not properly notifying of his new address. He was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £32 and court costs of £85.

JANET CAROL ANNE MILLIKIN, 63, of Fitchett Yard, Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 17, 2018 in Abingdon by calling the emergency services numerous times without an emergency reason on June 10. She was sent to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months because ‘the offence is so serious’. She must pay a victim surcharge of £128 and £85 in court costs.

MARK O’DONNELL, 27, of Gorse Croft, Winslow, was made subject to a domestic violence protection order for 28 days to protect a woman and must not molest the person by contacting them directly or indirectly, threaten them in any way or behave in a way that could cause fear. He has also been banned from a house and must not go within 100m of it.

MARK BAXTER, 37, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted theft of a pedal cycle at University College, High Street, on November 17. He also admitted stealing a Primark shopping bag containing 150 Euros as well as batteries and electric toothbrushes with a total value of £207 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on January 27 and electric toothbrushes valued at £120, from Sainsbury’s on December 28. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his drug dependency under the direction of the Turning Point drug rehabilitation service for nine months. He must also pay £500 in compensation.

SIMEON GRAHAM COPE, 33, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing scratch cards, to an unknown value, from Sainsbury’s on St Aldate’s on February 16 as well as common assault of a woman at the store. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with an officer for 10 days. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £75.
