There have been recent reports of vulnerable people, in particular elderly people, in the North Wales area being scammed by cold callers who claim to be from a bank or service provider.
TRADING standards have received reports of cold callers in Bicester offering free insulation.
Thames Valley Police advise that before engaging with any companies offering free insulation, contact Better Housing Better Health on their advice helpline 0800 107 0044 where they can assist further.

Residents are advised to not engage with any traders who cold call. If you come across any businesses you have concerns about, please contact Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
