SPRING cleaning on a city-wide scale is coming to Oxford.
More than 1,000 helpers are expected to litter pick at this year’s OxClean Spring Clean, which will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The annual event is organised by Oxford Civic Society, during which dozens of groups give up their time to work in different areas of the city, picking up litter.

Last year determined volunteers cleared more than six tonnes of rubbish from Oxford's streets.
OxClean aims to keep Oxford clean and tidy all year round, to ensure that the city is a welcoming and pleasant place for people to live in, work in and visit.
