A PAIR of miniature Shetland ponies made a big impression on residents of Marston Court care home in Oxford.
The ponies returned to The Orders of St John Care Trust home on Marston Road at the request of residents following a previous visit last year.

Back by popular demand, five-year-old Moomin and 16-year-old Tinkerbelle happily wandered around the home lounge before taking the lift upstairs to visit residents in their rooms to make sure everyone could enjoy the experience.
Manager Sharon Fenn said: “Ever since the ponies visited last time residents have been asking if they can come back.

“Residents just loved seeing them again. It’s really lovely to see the excitement and pleasure they gain from visits like this.
"It’s something they’ll definitely be talking about for some time.”
