A car which was stolen from a Brighton woman while she attended her husband's funeral has been recovered by detectives.
Police have recovered the grey Kia Ceed which was found in the car park at Wiltshire Court, off Lavender Street, Brighton, on Wednesday (April 22).
It had been taken using keys stolen during a burglary at Paula Palmer's home in Barnett Road, Brighton, on Friday, 17 April.
Thieves raided the property and stole thousands of pounds worth of cash and jewellery.
Detective Constable Richard Valder-Davis, of Brighton CID, said: "The car was found some considerable distance from where it was stolen.
"We are hoping that someone may have noticed it being driven in Brighton or saw it being parked.
"Anyone who did so, or who may have other information relating to this crime, is asked to get in touch as soon as possible."
