Two lanes on the M3 closed after multi-vehicle crash
Two people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the M3.
The M3 southbound was blocked between Winchester Services and junction nine for Winnal after three cars and a van were in collision at 11.20.
Two lanes were closed while emergency services worked at the scene but have been reopened.
Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance but it is not known the extent of their injuries.
A man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s are being treated at Southampton General Hospital.
Police initially closed the entire carriageway and put a diversion in place.
The crash is causing tail backs of more than seven miles for many Easter Bank Holiday travellers.
