Acts playing on the main stage include Levellers, the 1990s, the Cinematics and the Needles, with the Organic Beats Tent offering the likes of Alex Smoke and Galchen. Offering more than just music, there's also an array of art installations, street performers and puppet shows, and - hold on to your hats - camping is free!
Trocabrahma: King Creosote and Gruff Rhys Sat Jul 28, 7pm, Old Fruitmarket, Candleriggs, Glasgow, £14, www.trocabrahma.com Taking in place in Glasgow from today until Sunday, Trocabrahma is a culture jam of Brazlian and British talent featuring such delights as Four Tet, Bonde Do Role and JD Twitch.
The highlight is perhaps on Saturday, where Scottish alt-folk auteur King Creosote collaborates with Sao Paulo's samba-toting Romulo Froes, and Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys pits his sublime indie skills against the clattering, post-punk protest cantatas of Tony da Gatorra.
