JAMES Stewart Tait, 34, of Benside, Laxdale, appeared in private at
Stornoway Sheriff Court yesterday charged with attempted murder. No plea
or declaration was made, and he was committed and released on bail.
Procurator-fiscal Mrs Deborah Wilson said that other charges will
include serious road traffic offences and vandalism or malicious
mischief.
