A FUNDRAISING drive in aid of a five-year-old boy who suffers from a rare disease will continue over the Easter weekend.
Thousands have been raised since the Star reported on the story of Thatto Heath Primary School pupil Clark Doyle, aged five (seen above with his Dad Mike) who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
B&Q St Helens, where his mum Katy works, are hosting fun days on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday, to swell the appeal fund further.
Clark’s parents are raising funds that will go towards helping scientists’ work to find a cure for the condition, which causes muscles to weaken and waste over time and significantly shortened life-expectancy.
