POLICE are urging witnesses to contact them after a car driver fled the scene of a road accident.
The woman driver of a red car was involved in a collision with a blue BMW as she pulled out of Townend Street into Clarence Street, York, at about 8.30pm on Thursday.
Both cars suffered damage, although nobody is thought to have been hurt.
Anybody with information about the incident is asked to phone York Police on 01904 631321.
