FIREfighter Chris Wilson has published his second book about Flamenco, the traditional Spanish dance.

He will launch Collecting Stamps, Flamenco in Madrid on Sunday at Cafe Nero, in the High Street, Banbury.

The book is based on his experiences learning Flamenco in Spain over a number of years.

The book launch will be followed by a workshop for budding writers.

His latest self-published book comes hot on the heals of Flamenco Essentials, a practical guide to dance students, which he released more than a year ago.

Mr Wilson, originally from Liverpool but who now lives in Banbury, said: “I love Flamenco and enjoyed writing these two books so much that I now want to help others do the same.

“I plan to write ten books in ten years and so far I have managed two in two years.

“My next two books are in the pipeline already.

“A History of the County Fire Brigades and a Guide to Shotokan Karate, which I have been studying for almost 30 years.”
