Archbishop Bernard Longley of Birmingham visited Banbury on Sunday to bless a new fixture added to a local church. A Lampadarium — a beam of wood from which lamps are suspended — was donated to St John’s Church, South Bar Street, Banbury, by St. Mary’s College Chapel in Oscott, Birmingham. The lampadarium, Augustus Welby Pugin, used to hang in the Sanctuary at the college chapel, but its new home is at the front of the gallery at St John’s
